It is the second solo exhibition of the artist in the gallery. Eilike Schlenkhoff deals with pictorial elements of abstract painting such as a brushstroke, a spot of colour or a graphic gesture. In recent years, this has developed into a complex painterly cosmos that continually produces new pictorial sensations – and in dealing with the inherently abstract colour figures, reveals very different ways of playing.
