DESAYUNO WITH LINDA SENDOWSKI: A SEPHARDIC COOKING DEMONSTRATION

Learn about the traditional Sephardic desayuno meal with Linda Sendowski, author of “Sephardic Baking from Nona and More Favorites.” Linda Capeloto Sendowski grew up in Seattle, where Sephardic cuisine was her birthright, learning recipes passed down from her mother and grandmother. A self-taught cook, Linda uses her knack for writing recipes to preserve and connect with her heritage, most recently as a contributor to “The Sephardic Heritage Cookbook.” In this virtual cooking demonstration, Linda will break down one of her favorite recipes for borekas, a savory pastry.
